Shirt Dress MIRI (Upcycling tutorial in en/de)

 12,00

Shirt Dress MIRI is a wonderful summer dress crafted from multiple pre-loved men’s shirts. With its cut-on sleeves and slightly A-line silhouette, this dress is both stylish and comfortable.

In this sewing pattern, we will guide you on how to cut and sew the Shirt Dress MIRI. We provide clear instructions on how to draw the pattern yourself (it’s very easy, we promise!), prepare and cut the shirts, and then sew everything together. The only prerequisites are being able to sew straight seams with a sewing machine and cutting straight lines.

Size Information: This pattern fits sizes 36-40 (EU) and can be easily adjusted to a larger size!

Materials Needed:

  • 5 men’s shirts (preferably not slim fit and generously sized)
  • Paper
  • Measuring tape
  • Scissors

Note: We dyed the dresses after sewing them for a unique finish. And yes, that’s polluting the waters. You might choose colourful shirts with patterns instead!

WHAT YOU WILL GET:

  • A downloadable PDF via email, available in both English and German.
  • Detailed illustrations explaining how to disassemble the raw material.
  • Step-by-step guidance on drawing simple patterns using a measuring tape, a piece of paper, and a pencil.
  • Tips for easily adjusting the patterns to fit your measurements (depending on the model)
